Herald Sun Bob Hart, 8-11-08 "Melbourne's Quanjude is Australia's first. Pronounced Chueng-juder, it means something like 'all the virtues gathered together' rather than - more ducks than you could squeeze into Tassie-, which may have been more appropriate, if less poetic. There are a couple in the US, two more in Japan, one each in Germany and Hong Kong and another in Jordan, where less emphasis is placed, I suspect, on the twice-cooked pork belly. In China, there are 70 of them, which is terrible news for ducks. Because all of them offer roasted peking duck, a dish from the royal kitchens of the Ming Dynasty."
