Mietta's Review
A newish restaurant in the Gold Coast's food central, Broadbeach. This one as the name suggests specialises in wine - lots of it. So much in fact that walls are lined with it. They also provide hot rock cooking which considering the potential chef's exposure to the fermented grape might not be the best idea. There is, however, a normal menu too. Service is enthusiastic and the wine list extensive.

Brisbane News Louise Kelly 15/2/06 score food: 6 wine: 6.5 service: 7 ambience: 7 "a wacky restaurant that allows you to cook your own meat on hot volcanic rock, and imbibe from a wine buffet. But this is no gimmicky establishment. The Fermented Grape is in the stylish Broadbeach dining precinct near hot spots like Chicane and Coast. It was a Thursday night when we visited and all the restaurants were teeming with people. "
Courier-Mail Goodlife Restaurant Guide 2006 "With floor to ceiling racks brimming with bottles, it looks like a bottle shop with a restaurant inside but in fact, The Fermented Grape is all restaurant with a strong emphasis on wines."
