Courier-Mail GoodLife Restaurant Lizzie Loel 6/12/05 score Food: 14 Wine: 15 Service: 15 Ambience 15 "Work was still under way at The Dining Car so we were led next door to a larger bar area with table seating as well as a lounge area. Lots of dark wood and ornate architraves lend the space an elegant colonial feel with the romance of what train travel used to be about. The menu is a blend of old and new with modem Australian dishes such as roasted tomato tart and tian of handpicked crab but there's also a concession to the past in the oyster menu as well as the daily rotisserie section which offers a different roast at lunch and dinner every day of the week."
