One of the five Trustees who launched this fund on the anniversary of Brian Stacey's death. Aim to encourage the wider musical education of conductor. First award made October '98.

CITIZENS FOR PUBLIC INTEGRITY
initiated group and organised fund-raiser function

COLLINS STREET MUSICAL PROMENADE
co-initiator of the idea and held a lunch of Collins Street stakeholders to get it up, then organised a number of meetings, subsequently run by Greg Hocking and Peter Marks

COLLINS STREET PRECINCT GROUP
initiated the group, held first meetings at Mietta's, Alfred Place. Was elected President, retired following year.

RESIDENTS 3000
asked Melbourne City Council to make up list of city residents and encouraged the formation of a group. First meeting, elections and all planning was directed by Mietta's where it also met for the first year. Resigned, prior to second year's elections.

ROYAL AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS
On Judging Panel for Melbourne Prize 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000

SONG RECITAL AWARD
started in 1995, a competition for singers (Australia wide and open to Asia and New Zealand). Attracts the major young talent, prizes include performance opportunties at Festivals round the country, production of a CD by MOVE Records, ABC broadcasts and overseas study opportunities.

WESLEY CENTRAL MISSION LUNCHEON FORUM SERIES
Initiated with Kevin Green and hosted the series. Provided Mission Support Centre with food weekly for three years and tried to get ongoing support from food suppliers and providers.

WORKING CAPITOL
helped form a group to find uses for Capitol Theatre
