Fagioli with Sage
Ingredients
400 grams white beans
100 ml olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
salt and pepper
3 grams sage
Method
Soak beans overnight, pour off water and re-rinse
Place in a pan with 1/2 the oil, sage and chopped garlic
Cover with water and cook covered very slowly for 3 hours or until tender
Add salt, pepper and the remainder of the oil before serving
