Polenta e ceci

One of the many variations with polenta. A great base for lots of flavours.

Serves 6

Ingredients

Polenta as cooked in basic recipe polenta all abruzzese
500 grams of chick peas
1 laurel leaf
garlic
40 ml approx very good olive oil
salt


Method

Soak the chick peas in water for at least 10 hours.

Put them onto boil on a slow fire in salted water and when they are almost cooked, add the remaining ingredients.

Serve the polenta with the chick peas and juice over
