Tea House Authentic Chinese Cuisine

A small cared-for restaurant serving authentic Chinese cuisine in Box Hill. The attention to detail here is something whch one of the owners, Lawrence Tse, learnt from his years working for Gilbert Lau at the famous Flower Drum restaurant. Like Gilbert, Lawrence seems to love chasing the perfect ingredients for certain dishes. The printed menu is not so exciting but he is always keen to tell you about his special dishes. One such example is the chicken in claypot with sun-dried shallots (not readily accessible). The mainly Chinese clientele appreciate the most reasonable prices.
