Stokehouse (Upstairs)

Upstairs

Upstairs at The Stokehouse

The Stokehouse suits so many for so many occasions. The view upstairs, through the big palms, of the sea and beach below is great. The setting is comfortable, not too formal but enough space for serious business to feel expansive; likewise the wine list is substantial enough and the quality of the food reliable and often quite delicious. There are cosy tables of two by the windows or banquettes. Staff are very good, they cope with the pressures of business efficiently and pleasantly. This room, with its view and the standards of food and service, continues to be one of the great Melbourne experiences.
