There are Moretti fans everywhere, they come from far away Blackburn, Sydney and from around the corner. Owner Peter Buratto is always there to look after them. His cosy restaurant remains impervious to changes of fashion in food, service and decor. Peter keeps doing what he knows best and devotees love the consistency of the restaurant. Chefs come and go from his kitchen but Peter makes sure that the produce they use is the best he can get at the market and that they respect the taste memories he has of his mother's cooking. Specials change accordingly. This year a chef from the south was doing a sensational risotto del pescatore. But they've been other versions which were different but just as good.
