Lake house Restaurant & Accomodation

A beautiful setting and a delightful town to visit makes excursions to Lake House Daylesford an imperative, at least seasonally. For some, it's the sparkling lake under the summer sun, for others it's curling up in the armchairs by the fire in winter and enjoying some robust casseroles.

Chef-owner Alla Wolf Tasker has been cossetting her customers for years and it has earned the Lake House many accolades. She and husband Allan have also developed the property with guest rooms which are very popular. Weddings, parties and musical weekends keep the place very busy. Now in its 15th year of operation, the Lake House is the premier restaurant in this interesting and healthy area. A visit to the nearby spas is an excellent way to develop an appetite for the fine food here.
