Mietta's Eating & Drinking in Melbourne 2000
Contributors' Choice Page 104
For those who are a bit tired of eating Vietnamese food in 'ordinary' - read basic - cafe surroundings, the environment at Indochine provides a good alternative. The relaxing ambience attracts a mainly Australian, middle-aged clientele. Management aim to serve the traditional Vietnamese food 'with three star service'. This style makes Indochine more than a place for a quick meal. It is for a night out. But at lunch it's filled with local office workers and the pace is faster.
