MethodCut a fairly thick slice of ham into cubes; brown it lightly in butter; add some young turnips, previously blanched in boiling water and also cut into cubes; season with ground black pepper, and very little salt. Cover the pan and cook slowly until the turnips are tender; before serving sprinkle with parsley and a very little chopped garlic. |
