Artichoke Hearts And Peas
Ingredients
1 packet frozen Artichoke Hearts Artichoke Artichoke

MethodThaw a package of frozen artichokes (if available use fresh), cut them in half lengthwise, and pat them dry in a cloth. Saute them slowly in 2 tablespoons of butter until they are lightly browned, turning them several times. Add 2 cups of green peas, 1/2 cup of water, 1 tablespoon of butter, a bouquet garni, a pinch of sugar, and salt and pepper. Cover and simmer together over a very low flame for 25 minutes, or until the peas are tender and the liquid has almost evaporated.
