Jansson's Temptation



Ingredients

2 medium Potatoes

1/2 cup finely chopped Onion

Spring Onion Spring Onion

1 flat can Anchovies

Anchovy Anchovy

1 cup Cream

Cream Cream

Butter

Pepper

Pepper Pepper

Method

Butter a shallow baking dish. Slice and put in half the potatoes, onion, little butter, pepper and 1/2 the anchovies. Repeat the layer and pour over the cream over, dot with butter. Cook in a moderate oven until the potatoes have absorbed nearly all the cream and are brown on top.
