Khoshaf (Middle Eastern Dried Fruits)



Ingredients

1 lb dried Apricots

1/2 lb Prunes

Prune Prune

1/4 lb blanched Almonds

Almond Meal Almond Meal

2 oz Pistachio Nuts or Pine Nuts

1 tablespoon Rose Water

Rose Water Rose Water

1 tablespoon Orange Blossom Water

Orange Blossom Water Orange Blossom Water

Sugar to taste

Sugar Sugar

Method

Wash the fruits and cover with water in large dish. Add nuts and sugar (about 1/4 lb). Add rose water and orange blossom water. Let fruits soak at least 48 hours. Serve with cream (optional), handed seperately.
