Method

Beat butter and sugar to a cream, add eggs (one at a time) - Beat - then add flour and sufficient milk to make a nice batter. Bake about 3/4 hour in Moderate oven.

Topping:

6 teaspoons of sugar mixed with 1 large teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle on hot cake and pour over it a large tablespoon of melted butter.
