Method

Cream butter and sugar, add well beaten eggs, add sifted flour, then mash the bananas well and add. Lastly dissolve bicarbonate of soda in milk and mix it in until a smooth batter is formed. Bake in sandwich tins for about 30 minutes. Fill with icing flavoured with mashed bananas and lemon juice.
