Ingredients

2 lb blade bone Steak

3 Chillies washed and seeded

10 pimento-stuffed Olives

3 oz seedless Raisins

3 oz Almonds

9 oz sifted Flour

4 teaspoons Baking Powder

1 oz Lard

2 fluid oz Water

Method

Mince the beef and blend with the other ingredients.

Rub lard and butter into the sifted flour and baking powder until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Mix to a stiff dough with the water.

Divide into 4 - roll each into thin squares. Divide meat mixture into eack. Fold dough over and pinch edges securely. Place on buttered baking tray. Brush with egg yolk. Bake for 20 minutes in oven 375 degrees.


Remarks
Meat mixture is called South American Minced Meat
