Cook and roughly mash the potatoes.
Fry the onions until golden.
Fry the curry powder briefly, add the coconut cream and continue cooking for a few more minutes.
Add the mince, potato and onion. Mix well.
Cut out small saucer sized circles of puff pastry. Put a spoonfull of the curry mixture just off-centre. Fold the pastry over and seal the edges. Brush the top side with egg.
Bake in a moderate oven until the pastry is cooked and the filling is warmed through.
