It is certainly not a glamorous location but once you set foot inside the tiny space, which seats about 50, you find a room warmed by a woodfired stove with soft lighting, linen tablecloths and big candles. More elegant than I was expecting from this neighbourhood joint, despite the presence of plants which I suspected were plastic."
