West Australian Good Food Guide 2012 Score: 13.5/20 "DECO IS in the top half of the renovated Raffles Hotel. All black-on-black, it has a medium decibel level, which cranked upward as the night went on"
The West Australian Good Food Guide 2011 Score: 14/20 "Earplugs should be standard fare at the historic riverside Raffles Hotel's Deco restaurant on Wednesday and Sunday nights"
Sunday Mail Gail Williams, 22-11-2008 Score: 3.5/5 "IT'S Friday afternoon and the feeding frenzy is on at Deco at the Raffles, the Ian Love-owned hot spot. There are panoramic views but looking inward is the real sight to behold as an apparent cast of thousands - including a popular TV weatherman and some nuggety businessmen - pay homage to the "P"
Gourmet Traveller 2008 Australian Restaurant Guide "Perth's newest glamour restaurant refashions the glory of the Art Deco Raffles Hotel in a room that captures the sparkle and architectural pizazz of that period"
West Australian Kristin Watts, 15-02-07 Score: 15.5/20 "You'll find this beautiful building absolutely abuzz with beautiful people shelling out plenty of loot for drinks and food. When I visited for dinner on Friday night, I was surprised by just how many patrons were dressed up to the nines to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the street-level bar and lounge. The equally glamorous, sexily fitted-out Deco restaurant, stacked on top of the bar area, was enjoying a similar level of patronage with diners desperate to wrap their chops around food by ex-Coco's chef Michael Hill ... regardless of the cost."
Sunday Times Gail Williams, 17-12-06 Score: 3.5 stars out of 5 "Deco, Ian Love's new baby, is WA through and through, from its iconic art deco building which has played host to bikies, bands and beautiful babes to its panoramic vista made up of traditional WA pursuits - sailing, prawning, surfcatting, rowing, fishing. All can be played out in full view of the diners at Deco, who - in their own curious way on our Wednesday night visit - also personify that typical West Australian attitude to life. Especially in these boom times. Diners of all ages exuded the brash confidence that comes with being cashed-up somethings easily able to afford the Henschke Hill of Grace Shiraz at $560 on a wine list that also features Grange and bottles of Dom Perignon at $370."
