Mietta's Review
No wonder John Milton lost Paradise as it's in a Wheelers Hill shopping Mall but a visit to their South Indian vegetarian Sunday buffet will see it regained. Their normal menu is good too and you can BYO for a small corkage charge. They do a considerable take-away trade.

Other published opinions

The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "It might not be heaven, exactly, but there's something other-worldly about this beige, scarlet and blue-walled place. There's Ella on the jukebox, lighting that's dim without being intimate, and staff who, like guardian angels, guide you through the huge menu, steering neophytes towards mild butter chicken or viscous eggplant cooked in coconut milk and spices."

The Age Cheap Eats 2005 "A MALL may seem an unlikely place to find paradise, but here it is, nestled near the supermarket and bottle-o. Many have long made the Sunday pilgrimage for the south Indian brunch buffet"

The Age Cheap Eats 2004 "PARADISE'S Sunday buffet, with its vegetarian spread of dosas, rice cakes and lentil vadas, has long been regarded as one of the Hill's surest culinary bets. But the bold flavours offered at other times come just as close to fulfilling the promise of this humble restaurant's not-so-humble name."

Herald Sun CityStyle Best of Melbourne 04 Best Take-away "A colossal menu and selection of dishes outside the usual fare."

The Foodies' Guide 2004,Allan Campion & Michele Curtis,'Not only is this probably Melbourne's cheapest Indian,it's possibly one of the best. And if you takeaway and manage to get your order over $25,they'll take 10% off.The menu is colossal, with a selection of dishes outside the usual items...There are 11 vegetarian options,a host of different biriyanis and numerous side orders, including the fluffiest naan bread around.Actually now we think about it,it's very easy to get over $25 and we'll be glad of the discount.'

AGFG 2004, 13/20, wide selection of vegetarian meals
