Mietta's Review
The bustling upstairs canteen is a wonderful space for a fast cheap night out. A sociological expedition not to be missed, the diners seem to mainly be students, some grunge persons, some young professionals and the local Vietnamese community. The food is fine.

The Age Cheap Eats 2006 Generations of students, urban bohemians and families have made the pilgrimage up the worn stairs to this budget diners' nirvana. Sure, the cafeteria-style space isn't the last word in modern glamour, but the tired laminated tables, flashing coloured lights and mismatched crockery are part of the fun.
