Mietta's Review
Very swish pair of eateries on Station Pier. Downstairs is a busy buzzy cafe upstairs is the restaurant. The views, of course, are great. Reasonable modern Australian dishes with middle eastern flavours from chef Dianne Kerry. Upstairs does a considerable function business. Downstairs the fun family atmosphere and simple but well done food make this a very popular place.

The Age Good Food Guide 2006 score 14/20 "After a couple of years on shaky ground, this sleek restaurant is once again poised to duke it out in the heavyweight division. New chef Gerard Lamaro learned a thing or two about fine produce when he helped George Birch set up Dromana's Heronswood Cafe. At No. 3, he's enjoying splashing his ideas on to a much larger canvas than was possible at the Mornington Peninsula cafe."

The Age Good Food Guide 2005 "MELBOURNE has embraced waterside dining and this va-va-voom venue - which could be mistaken for a sleek ocean liner with its timber, glass and metal hull - comes with views of the bay, adjacent highrises and the Spirit of Tassie. Inside, the decor is just as luxe."

Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004, Excellent wine list, Good vegetarian options,'sticks to the formula of downstairs cafe, upstairs fine diner. The smart restaurant is a contemporary space dominated by views of Port Melbourne and acres of white linen...The simpler things seem to work best...Presentation is given strong emphasis and staff are thick on the ground.'

The Age, A2, 10/1/04, Thomas Hunter,'a mulit talented venture courting serious eaters and those after something more casual'
