The Age Clem Bastow, 22-3-2007 "Various types of wooden furniture are scattered across the kind of terrazzo flooring not seen since Mrs Madge Smythe's bathroom in 1953; the bar is long and looks like an extended kitchen chopping table, the sort some scamp such as Jamie Oliver would cover with herbs and large knives if it wasn't already crawling with drinkers, and there are four-seater tables with stools scattered around; there are a couple of couches in the window for the prime "first in, best dressed"drinking position. A cosier booths-'n'-couches room continues beyond the bar and beyond that there is a tiny courtyard that redefines the term "intimate"."
