Mietta's Review Handmade noodles, courtesy of the chef stationed in the front window, are transformed into a wonderful range of noodle soups and stir-fried dishes, mostly for less than $10. Downstairs a line of tables for two stretch down the length of the kitchen, upstairs there's a surprisingly bright and spacious room lit by large windows giving onto the plane trees of Russell St. Service is basic as is the 'laminex' setting but, for the price, the food is great. Also at 51 Main St, Box Hill, 9899 3133
