The Age Clem Bastow, 8-12-2006 "The venue itself, housing four separate bars, is one of a growing number of highly stylised, hyper-designed "event"venues. The Library, a wine bar in the foyer, is all reds, purples and liver-coloured velvets; the Terrace is a light-filled balcony for evening functions; the Music Room is a perplexing rhomboid shape full of milling dance fans and swishing klieg lights; and the Lexington is an elongated watering hole with Gatsby-esque tickets. All four run around level two of the GPO, with windows looking onto the shops below. Entering the various bars is an odd experience."
