The Age Cheap Eats 2004 "THIS smart modern cafe leads a Jekyll and Hyde life. At lunch it's a speedy spot for bento boxes ... At dinner the feel becomes hip inner-city cocktail bar and the food lifts accordingly"

The Foodies' Guide 2004,Allan Campion & Michele Curtis,'The bento boxes for lunch include miso soup, salad, your choice of main and dessert, all for around $9-17.Each variation is a modern take on traditional Asian dishes, such as Peking duck and Thai beef salad.Top value for money.'

The Age Cheap Eats 2004,Good vegetarian dishes,'This smart modern cafe leads a Jekyll and Hyde life.At lunch its a speedy spot for bento boxes...At dinner the feel becomes hip inner-city cocktail bar and the food lifts accordingly'

Age, Epicure, Unexplored Territory, Matt Preston, 8/7/03. The main item on offer is the traditional Japanese bento-box which comes with rice (or soba noodles), miso, salad, and a few extras, along with your choice of main and entree. There are several non-Japanese options such as gravalax or Thai beef salad. The full menu is on offer from midday-3.30pm Mon-Fri and 6-9.30pm Thur-Fri

Herald Sun, Sunday Life, Eating Out, 27/7/03, Sally Fisher,'This is the pick of the strip...Service is good...The food here isn't strictly authentic Japanese, but it tastes very good and the feel is contempory Tokyo.'
