The carpet is full of mod swirls in various shades of red, and the nature of the place (curving around the side of the Arts Centre) suggests modular lounges, round televisions and conversation pits, even if the reality of the place is resolutely "now"with leather banquettes and audiovisual displays embedded in the wall."

At Curve, dinner starts early and finishes late: you could pop in for snacks before a show and come back afterwards to top up. ... Curve hugs the rounded side of the theatres building, behind the Spiegeltent and next to the gallery. Cuddly seating nooks, bubble chairs and swirly carpet give the place a late-'60s futuristic look. The waiters in preppy uniforms are perky, but the service isn't sharp. Cutlery supply lagged behind the food, dirty plates were routinely cleared after a new dish arrived and a question about the contents of our dessert was met with bafflement. Still, I like the Gatsby-style hats."
