Mietta's Review
Cafe a taglio has come to the city. Set over two levels of the Georges complex in Little Collins Street, the canteen style eatery is housed in the basement, and the espresso bar by the entrance on the ground floor. Designed by restaurant architect Chris Connell, with blonde wood furniture the space is stylish, loud and suits the mid city lunch crowd. The menu features Roman pizzas sold by the slice, augmented by a wider, Italian inspired, menu. In the Espresso Bar its all to go, coffee, cakes (luscious brownies) and filled paninis. Service is efficient, and 'fresh' in that Italian way.
