The Age Clem Bastow, 24-1-2008 "Housed in the bunker-esque building that has formerly been home to (among many others) Club UK, the proprietors have done an excellent job of converting the once daggy pub/bar into a luxurious little cocktail lounge (but without making it so glamorous that you can't relax). The walls are alternately panelled in dark-stained wood and mirror tiles, giving the room (which is quite small and squat) a sense of being much larger than it is. It's the oldest trick in the book, of course, but it works here."
