Mehfil, translated, means to come together for a celebration. The Talwars' fine cuisine and attentive service is celebration enough. The interior is cosy and warm, with red brick walls and fresh, white tablecloths. Rajan and his family are clearly popular with the locals. Book, especially on weekends. Chicken Jhalphraizie is superb, it's pieces of chicken simmered in a thick creamy sauce with capsicum, tomatoes and aromatic spices.
