Mietta's Review
Estivo is a new addition to dining in Kew. It's a smart little place with crisp white tablecloths, cool colours and dark stained Thonet chairs. The food is the fashionable mediterranean of modern Australian. The wine list is well priced and the service is efficient.

Other published opinions

Age Good Food Guide 2008 Score: 14/20 "A handsomely restored building in affluent Kew; fine, contemporary furnishings for the delightful : dining room; a nice little wine list. Chef-turned restaurateur restaurateur Adrian Terzon has been lining up the ducks in recent years to get his smart Estivo "

The Age Good Food Guide 2006 score 14/20 "estivo has a contemporary (but cleverly broad) appeal to its look, with classic colours, tactile materials and smart accessories. The menu also has wide appeal, showing care and attention but eschewing pretence or fuss."

The Herald Sun Stephen Downes 5/4/05 score 11/20 "Estivo provides a mixed bag of experiences. Relatively small, it's stylish, contemporary and comfortable. But, especially at these prices, the food needs to be much better. The wine list is representative, limited and very well-priced. Five whites and five reds are available by glass."

The Age Epicure John Lethlean March 22, 2005 SCORE: 14.5/20 "A sophisticated, stylish newcomer with good food that should find a ready audience in its district."
