Neither alcohol or eggs are used in the production of the dishes at this South Indian, strictly vegetarian restaurant, which is happy to also meet the needs of the vegan diet. It is a very basic shopfront with very strict rules - go to the counter, consult the menu, order and pay. If you want water to fill the glass set on the laminex table go to the counter - it's kept in the Coke fridge. Then prepare yourself for a quick and amazingly cheap meal. Once you learn the drill the service is efficient and polite. The food is very good, particularly the dosas which seem to be a universal favourite (Masala Dosa $5.50).
