It may be difficult for the uninitiated to navigate a tasty path through the myriad of ethnic restaurants in Footscray, but for excellent northern Indian cuisine you must head to Taj Palace. Locals have been in on it for years so best book to avoid being forced to take away and eat in the back seat of the car.
