The Age Dani Valent, 26-6-2007 "The place is bright and functional like a cafeteria. Glass, plastic and fridge noise dominate, softened by a mural of rice paddies, barges and fisherfolk. The long menu features familiar subcontinental curries, and Bangladeshi specials picked out with red ink and stars. One-star dishes are always available but elaborate two-star dishes require prior notice. Call ahead if you want lotpotti, a chicken offal curry; morog-e-musallam, whole yoghurt-marinated chicken stuffed with potatoes, peas and spicy rice; or the large baked fish which, at an anomalous $56, is the most expensive thing on the menu (many dishes are under $10). Chinese food, with a Bangladeshi spin, is available on weekends."
