Footscray is home to a large Vietnamese population and its restaurants are pitched at them rather than the Anglo clientele of Victoria St Richmond. Lucky Star has fish tanks, pho (Vietnames rice noodle soup) and other dishes like rice paper rolls. The pho is the speciality and it is served in an authentic laminex setting.
