The Age Dani Valent, 27-12-2007 "The look of the place will be familiar to pho aficionados. It's cheap, plain and clean - indeed, we were greeted by the bleachy smell of a mop. On each laminate table is a vacuum flask of tea, a box of tissues and a platter of condiments and utensils. The main bilingual menu is high along one wall with specials tacked to the mirrored strips below. Decor is in the form of a lucky cat, fake flowers and a drinks fridge. The night I visited, a CD player leaked Elton John. The songs wormed their way into my head and took three days to evict."
The Age Cheap Eats 2007 "The menu seems small compared with lengthy lists found at most Vietnamese restaurants, but the reason is simple: soup's all that matters. Sure, the rice-paper rolls are good at this fluoro-and-laminate place, but the dozen noodle soups - including beef-blood and a surprisingly mild chilli beef - make this place a standout."
