Age Good Food Guide 2008 Score: 12.5/20 "You'll find no So Frenchy, So Chic' compilation playing on the stereo here; Moretons provides for the more rustic side of the French cliche"
The Age Good Food Guide 2006 score 13/20 "Moretons is that seamless blend of neighbourhood bistro and Gallic fine-diner. It's run, not by French-born authenticos, but by extroverted owner chef Jenny Walsh and her husband Chris Rees, who returned from England to open something more intimate than their large Buckinghamshire eatery. Their cosy Carlton restaurant, with exposed dark-wood beams, spotless white walls and dark bistro chairs, has long mirrors scrawled with the day's specials"
