Mietta's Review
Arrivederci offers a reliable, and relaxed traditional Italian dining experience, that doesn't come cheap but offers value for money. Loved by Melbourne's business fraternity, charming Trompe d'oeil murals adorn the walls, and colourful Nina Parrucca ceramics add touches of eccentricity to the room. The menu written on a black board in Italian, presents a broad range of dishes featuring pastas and meat prepared 'aiferri' style (grills). The menu is translated with flare for you by the maitre'd whose suggestions can be right on the money. The deep fried zucchini flowers and misto di mare (a seafood platter amply laden with scampi, calamari, Moreton Bay Bugs and more) have become signature dishes and prove to be popular amongst the clientele. So to is the dessert list, where the Tiramisu in all its sponginess is hard to pass up.

Age Good Food Guide 2008 Score: 13/20 "You could easily miss the low-key terrace shopfront on a stretch of Nicholson Street not known for restaurants. But while it may look like any number of old-fashioned Italian joints scattered across the city, Arrivederci proves that appearances can be deceiving"

The Age Good Food Guide 2003. Score 12/20. Good service and reliable food.

Age Good Food Guide 2002 - Score 13/20 - "It might be the dining room's "slightly clubby air" that keeps the regulars coming back, but more likely it is "the pasta dish served out of a carved-out pumpkin."
