Mietta's Review
Looking onto Burke Road, with its busy throng of shoppers, the place is welcoming and pleasing to the senses with the heady scent of all things farinaceous and yeasty in the air. Fellow customers are mainly women, probably taking a break from a shopping trip, or catching up with a friend, and there's a pleasant unobtrusive level of conversation. A baguette to share, a gorgeous cake, some bread and pastries- lemon tart $4.60- for home, and a hot pot of loose leaf tea in the Laurent china tea service. Completely satisfying.
