This ex Coaching House on the edge of Balnarring Village is now a completely charming retreat for blitzed city dwellers. Walk in genuinely tranquil gardens then begin your evening with champagne on the blowsy front verandah. Dine in floral wallpapery old-fashioned quiet, take port in a library. In fact you come here for the place, so spend the night - though you don't have to - then enjoy breakfast in the sleepout. A favourite table nestles beside a garden window near a log fire always whispering below the sensuously carved marble fireplace. Sink into the fireside couch and sip a little sherry. Warrawee Homestead is country life like Grandmother made it and fresh food from the era honestly called homemade. A place for everyone. Absolutely not up to the minute.
