Mietta's Review
Glick's goods are central to the proper functioning of Melbourne's Jewish community. It's a kosher bakery here for nearly 40 years. Come early for the cakes, breads and the 10 different types of bagels because, especially on weekend mornings, they simply walk out the door, in carry bags of course. These days it has expanded on both sides adding Mr Glick's and Glick's Il Pizza Cafe. Also at 456 Centre rd Bentleigh, 9557 0377; 153 Glenferrie Rd Malvern, 9500 8233; 325 Flinders Lane, 9614 0533; Warehouse - 1060 Dandenong Rd Carnegie 9572 1822

The Sunday Age, 13.12.98 "...Glicks would have to be at the heart of Melbourne's Jewish community. It's an old fashioned bakery with a counter down one wall, a window of cakes, and bagels by the bin-load; roll up on a Sunday morning and join the crush. Naturally, most folk come for the bagels..."
