Babanusa

Mietta's Review
Sudanese dishes are the attraction at Babanusa, an unassuming and modest restaurant. The food is good - it is mildly, but aromatically spiced, and the ingredients include a lot of vegetables and nuts, although there are meat dishes too. The prices are cheap and there is a very sensible children's menu offering small serves of meat, vegetables and rice. More please.

Other published opinions

Adelaide Advertiser 27-6-2007 "Simple timber-floored and table diner serving spiced Sudanese dishes that have integrity and interest in a friendly, youthful atmosphere."

Adelaide Advertiser 2006 "BaBanusa is just five minutes from the CBD and yet a world away. It is a cheerful and relaxing place where the tables are not crowded, the music is uplifting and the service good-natured. Adelaide's only Sudanese restaurant is devoid of pretension."
