Known for feral food (emu, camel and wombat) and recommended by Sarah Stegley and Marieke Brugman who visit there on their Howquadale gourmet tours. The kitchen is properly run and staff do a good job. The old hotel front has been retained with good modern rooms behind. Try the feral mixed grill.
