Sunday Mail 15/08/04 "Its Silky's Restaurant recently underwent a partial renovation and, under the eye of chef Andrew Thompson, the menu is a strong mix of traditional pub grub and innovative contemporary dishes, plus a vegetarian selection. ... inside, the main dining room is long, with a curved ceiling and well-spaced tables, overlooking the pleasant lounge bar complete with colourful fish in aquariums, background music and booths. The white tablecloths are topped by paper, the cream walls are hung with large prints and the staff are well presented. Soup is priced at $5.90, entrees are around $10 (be warned, they are big serves) and main courses stretch from the roast of the day at $12.90 to a few around the $23 mark, though most are under $20."
