Mietta's Review
Two storied shop - two level restaurant the top with seating on the verandah overlooking The Parade. Paul's is a fish restaurant and whiting appears here grilled with chips for $18.50 or with steak $23.

Other published opinions

Adelaide Advertiser 2006 "The fish and chip restaurant-cafes of Adelaide have been somewhat battered of late with the advent of Asian cuisine and its cheap, quick eats. But the good ones will always survive and this is among them."

Adelaide Advertiser Tony Baker 10/8/05 "Most of us know the formula, various combos of fish and other seafood - mine is butterfish or hake topped with scallops - served with chips and a fat wedge or two of lemon on a plate garnished with a rudimentary salad. Paul's On Parade opened in 1995 as a near clone of the Gouger St original, but has quite separate ownership, and by now has well and truly developed its own identity. There is an agreeable no-frills decor with upstairs and balcony seating, as well the main room near the display cabinets and fryers. It is one of those places where you go knowing exactly what you want and how it will taste and where you can be assured there will be no surprises."

Sunday Mail 28/11/04 "This is not your place for innovative surprises. Paul's continues to carve a path as a place where you settle in for a few laughs and expect a great seafood feed of a consistently high standard - and get it."

Adelaide Advertiser Tony Baker 28/8/04, "One of the remaining ... traditional-style Adelaide seafood restaurants."
