Mietta's Review
Step into a different world, with all consideration given to a fine dining experience. Silver, crystal and damask are laid before you, and classic but innovative French dishes, beautifully cooked and finished, are correctly served by attentive staff. The restaurant is in a lovely old villa, set back from the road. A function centre with seats for 150 was added in 2001.

Other published opinions

Adelaide Advertiser Simon Wilkinson, 10-9-2008 Score: 17.5/20 "Chloe's is flying again, its new-look menus, superior cellar and faultless service making it among our very best high-end dining experiences. Highly recommended."

Adelaide Advertiser 2006 "Set in a grand 125-year-old villa, Chloe's is a step back in time to another era. Its main dining room and two private rooms are sumptuously furnished in period style, with paintings, chandeliers and furniture that is the real thing."

Gourmet Traveller 2006 Australian Restaurant Guide "Trapped in a glorious Victorian time-warp, or simply good old fashioned luxury? Chloe's 128 year-old villa is fastidiously maintained and filled with the trappings of another era that have made it popular for the big-night out or a dinner to impress."

Gourmet Traveller 2005 Australian Restaurant Guide "With its grand old dining rooms, Chloe's is still the venue for celebrating a special occasion with all the trimmings. For 18 years owner Nick Papazahariakis has greeted guests with infectious charm. His eye for detail and belief in the traditions offine dining ensure the napery is crisp, the crystal spotless and the cellar one of the finest"

Adelaide Advertiser Simon Wilkinson 21/7/04 score 13/20, "The great bastion of traditional, special-occasion dining in Adelaide. Still popular but, on our visit, let down by poorly intormed service and inconsistent cooking."

Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004, 1 Red Star, Excellent wine list,'Set in a rather grand old villa, Chloe's is a step back in time...all sumptuously furnished in period style...The menu also follows classical themes-somewhat old-fashioned, with very detailed cooking, everything made in house and no-corners cut.'

The Advertiser, 2/7/03, Food & Wine, 'One of Adelaide's enduring fine-dining experiences, you can sample exciting food and ponder a wide-ranging wine list'
