Mietta's Review
In 1997 this was a ground-breaking restaurant for Adelaide, a smart buzzy bistro on the beach with good food - it was great fun. That was some years ago. Today, when there are lots of competitors in beachside positions, the Kiosk needs a serious shake-up. That said it's still a splendid location with large windows along three sides allowing patrons to enjoy panoramic views up and down the coast or across lightly grassed dunes to the sea beyond, while outside diners are protected from sea breezes by electric see through blinds.

Other published opinions

Adelaide Advertiser 2006 "On a balmy summer night a window seat at Grange Jetty Kiosk is the next best thing to setting your table and deck chairs on the beach. Perched above a sandhill, you are only metres from the sea and, when the sliding doors are opened there's salt air, crashing waves, a setting sunE gorgeous."

The Advertiser, 17/3/04, Tony Love, Eating Out,' A Euro-centric, mod-Australian menu in glorious surroundings, with a friendly wine list and creative food. It's worth exploring day and night. Score 14/20'

Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Australia 2004,'There's a sheltered outdoor deck that's great for Sunday breakfast, and the restaurant's beachside windows slide back to open up the whole restaurant in summer...fish and seafood feature on the menu...Nothing too demanding, but competently done and ideal for the broad range of tastes of families on outings to the beach.'

The Advertiser, 2/7/03, Food & Wine,'suburban seaside eatery is still one of the best locations in South Australia.'
