Mietta's Review
This is a hotel restaurant which means that what can be bought or organised is abundant but thing that needs personal attention are absent. That said, the position overlooking the beach at Glenelg is excellent, the room is comfortable, the food is good and service from the senior staff is professional. A new French chef, Gwenael le Chenadec, arrived in mid 2004 and his kitchen brigade is putting out modern, classicaly based, French food of good standard at an excellent price (mains in the mid $20s). On Friday and Saturday there is an all you can drink wine special for $15 per person, help yourself from the lid of the grand piano that acts as a bar. Excellent value.
